　　This week promises to be very exciting for our Sky Avenues Family! What’s Going On?

　　这周将会是一个对我们爱幼思大家庭来说很兴奋的一周！要发生什么了呢？

　　ART EXHIBITION 艺术展

　　May 20th - 4:00pm-6:00pm 5月20日 － 下午4点到6:00

　　On Friday afternoon, from 4:00pm-6:00pm we will hold our charity Art Exhibition in the first floor corridors of our school. All of our children will have one piece of work that they have created over these past few months on display. I love the innocence of children’s art and celebrating our children’s work in this way gives them confidence to express their creativity.

　　So as to control traffic at this time, we would like to stagger pick up time so that all of the children and their parents have the opportunity to view the art work.

　　周五下午4:00-6：00在学校一楼走廊会举行慈善艺术展。每个孩子都会展出一个自己的画作。我喜欢孩子们纯真的作品也庆祝孩子们通过这种方式表达自信。为了控制车流量，我们将会调整接孩子的时间让每个家长和孩子都有机会欣赏画作。

　　What Time Should You Arrive? 您应该在什么时间接孩子？

　　4:00pm - Possum Class, Koala 1 Class and Koala 2 Class. 负鼠班，考拉1班和考拉2班

　　4:20pm - Casa 1 and Casa 2 Class 蒙氏1 班和蒙氏2班

　　4:40pm - Wombat Class and Kangaroo Class 袋熊1班和袋鼠班

　　5:00pm - After School Activity and Outside Friends  参加兴趣班的孩子和校外的朋友。

　　What do you need to do?

　　我们该做些什么呢？

　　The same as what you would if you visit an Art Gallery! Visit the art exhibition with your children. Talk about the shapes, colours and materials used. Encourage your child to talk about what they like. Elicit the expectations and peaceful atmosphere of a art exhibition  - talking in indoor voices, walking with indoor feet and touching with gentle hands.

　　就像您参观一间画廊一样！和孩子一起参观展览，说一说形状，颜色，材质。鼓励孩子说说他们喜欢什么。探究画展带来的平静的氛围－用轻柔的声音交谈，轻柔的脚步，轻柔的触摸。

　　This activity will not be teacher led. You are free to visit and enjoy the exhibition independently. There will be no other special activities planned - because - what else do you need other than the ART!

　　这项活动没有老师领队。您可以自由的参观，而孩子们的艺术作品将是这次意义非凡的展览的重心。

　　So where does the charity aspect come in?

　　Art Work Silent Auction

　　静音的艺术作品拍卖。

　　Each child’s work has been professionally framed. If you would like to make a bid on a piece of work to take home to adorn your walls, please complete the bidding form that you will receive electronically on Friday. The minimum bid for each master-piece is 80RMB (the cost of the frame).  100% of profits from this bidding will be donated to charity.

　　每一个作品都有框架。如果您想要买一副画作回去装饰家里的墙壁，请您填写周五我们发出的竞拍表格电子档。每幅作品的起拍价是80元（框架价格）拍得价格将全部用于慈善捐款。

　　You will also have the chance to get your child’s art-work printed on T-shirts, eco-bags and mugs.  You can order these cool gifts using the electronic form that will be sent to your group chat on Friday. Wear, carry or drink from your child’s creativity! A great gift for doting grandparents, aunts and uncles and friends! All items have been marked up with all profits made donated to charity.

　　您也有将您孩子作品印在衣服，包包和马克杯上的机会。如果您想要的话请填写将会在周五发送到班级微信群的电子表格。可以送给捐赠善款的所有家人和朋友。同样的所有善款将全部捐献。

　　Why are we engaging in helping charities?

　　为什么我们热衷于慈善？

　　I whole-heartedly believe that it is so important to involve children in taking a look at their environment and helping them understand that their involvement and contribution – no matter how small – can make a difference! Here at Sky Avenues we will hold regular community events that will be aimed at reaching the larger community. But, we also need your help! There are a gazillion charities out there that are reaching out for help. We want you to tell us which one you think your contributions should go to. If you know of a cause (preferably local) that deserves our attention, please let us know!

　　我衷心的希望我们的孩子能够明白不论多小的举动都能带来改变。在爱幼思我们一直有许多的活动来改变我们的社会。但我们一直需要你们的帮助。还有许许多多需要我们帮助的团体，我们希望您能告诉我门你希望帮助那些团体。如果您知道（最好是当地的）需要我们关注的，请让我们知道。
